Keep CXC FREE for attendees!

We at Cartoon Crossroads Columbus are excited about the upcoming festival running October 6th – 9th.  Our return to a fully in-person and accessible event to celebrate comics and the people who make them would not be possible without your support.

Because of donors like you, the entire festival continues to be FREE.

Interactive panels and presentations, artist spotlights from an outstanding guest list, afterparties, and a weekend expo featuring more than 100+ creators will be free for fans of comics, cartoons and cartoonists to attend. Free admission to CXC sends a clear message that all are welcome.  This accessibility opens the doors to countless fans who might not otherwise have an opportunity to meet their favorite creator or be introduced to a new one.

To continue this accessibility for our eighth annual festival, we need your support.  CXC raises nearly half of its funding from individual donations: people like you.

If you donate $20, $50, $100 or more, that goes directly to paying for our annual show and programming. This money helps us cover costs such as guest travel costs, printing and tech support, all geared toward supporting our mission of supporting art and artists.

For the second year in a row, our co-founder Lucy Shelton Caswell has stepped forward with a matching gift to get us started. Lucy, the founding curator of the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum, will match all donations to CXC up to $7,500.

“CXC offers so many possibilities–and financial support is the way to make things happen,” says CXC co-founder Lucy Shelton Caswell, “We have the ideas, talent, and hands to accomplish great things.  What we need is stable on-going financial support.”

Please consider making a gift for this matching campaign by clicking here or mail a check to 4364 N. High St., #141404, Columbus, Ohio 43214.  If you have any questions, please contact us at jay@cartooncrossroadscolumbus.org

Thank you, and we’ll see you in the fall!

In Gratitude,

Jay
