Well developed environment can help to ground a story. Some artists go beyond grounding a story, in fact, inviting their readers into their homes, their neighborhoods, their cities, and their lives. Cartoonist Nicole Georges (Calling Dr. Laura, Fetch) will be leading a discussion with cartoonists, Caroline Cash (PeePee-PooPoo), Karl Krumpholz (30 Miles of Crazy), and MS Harkness (Desperate Pleasures), on the how they approach the challenge of packing so much square mileage into a few loose pages.
